Don’t miss the final Friday Night Live of the 2018 season, on Friday, August 17th from 5-11 pm. This popular event series, known as Old Town Winchester’s summer block party, is the perfect opportunity to meet up with friends, shop, dine, and enjoy great live music, street performers, and artisans.
The August Friday Night Live event features the return of a local favorite, The Robbie Limon Band, at the Taylor Pavilion (ticket required). The Robbie Limon Band performs popular covers of 70’s and 80’s classic hits. This concert usually sells out every year, so those interested in attending are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets early.
Opening for the Robbie Limon Band is The Muddy Crows Trio, a popular American folk group from Silver Spring, Maryland, who have taken the D.C. rock scene by storm.
The Loudoun Street Mall will also be filled with free entertainment, acoustic music and street performers to create an entertaining, family-friendly atmosphere (no ticket required). Reminiscent of an old-fashioned block party.
For ticket holders to the Taylor Pavilion concert area, there will also be a beer and wine garden benefiting the SPCA of Winchester, Frederick, and Clarke Counties.
Tickets are $5 in advance and available at the Total Image & Workingman’s Store, Espresso Bar & Cafe, Abija Blue, PrimeLending, and Full Circle Marketing. Don’t wait; ticket prices will increase to $10 the day of the event. Early bird ticket sales end at our outlets at 5:00 pm July 19th. Early Bird tickets can be purchased online at www.enjoyotw.com.
Prior to the event, dine at one of more than 35 restaurants located in Old Town Winchester and explore or shop at over 60 unique businesses ranging from apparel, jewelry, boutiques, art galleries, museums and more.
