City Council Work Sessions

Scheduled Work Session Dates

City Council Work Sessions are held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Council Chambers at Rouss City Hall. All official meetings of the City of Winchester Council are open to the public and citizen participation is encouraged.

City Council Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Rouss City Hall. All regular City Council meetings are televised on Comcast Channel 20 at 7:00 pm

Special accommodations to attend the meeting can be arranged by calling City Hall at (540) 667-1815 (phone) or (540) 722-0782 (TDD).

NOTE: City Council adopted an ordinance at the October 27, 2009 Council meeting to abolish the use of standing committees by Common Council (view the press release). Archives of the Committees' minutes can be viewed here.
