Winchester's International Children’s Festival was created in 2009 to celebrate the area’s diverse youth population and to expose families to the world around them. This fun and educational festival includes a long list of cultural entertainers, interactive exhibits representing countries from around the world, and an international food court. The festival welcomes thousands of people annually and offers an experience that is not easily forgotten. Held rain or shine, the International Children’s Festival is moved inside the Winchester Active Living & Recreation Center in Jim Barnett Park in inclement weather. THANK YOU to our dedicated country representatives, entertainers, food vendors and generous sponsors: Blue Ridge Kiwanis, T.D. Clayton State Farm Insurance, Winchester Public Schools, Coalition for Racial Unity, Kohl’s, Food Maxx International Foods, and Piccadilly Printers.
