International Children's Festival

ICF LogoInternational Children's Festival

Winchester's International Children’s Festival was created in 2009 to celebrate the area’s diverse youth population. This fun and educational festival will include a long list of cultural entertainers, interactive exhibits representing countries from around the world, an international storytelling area and food court.  At the inaugural festival in 2009, between 2,000 and 3,000 people took a trip around the world to 20 different and amazing countries.  Get involved in the 2010 festival now and don’t miss this opportunity to expose area children to the world around them!

A portion of the net proceeds will be donated to the Winchester Parks Foundation for the park scholarship fund ($1,500 donated in 2009)

To make this festival an even better learning experience for area children, the SOLs will be included in the festival. A list of questions will be provided to participating youth. Then on the day of the festival, students will use their festival passports to visit each country and answer the questions for a prize.
