Natural Resources Advisory Board (NRAB)

About the NRAB

The City of Winchester established the Natural Resources Advisory Board in 2007. The purpose of this Board is to:

  • foster a sense of community stewardship
  • assist City departments and the City Council in developing policies and in funding and implementing programs to conserve local natural resources and protect environmental health
  • to involve citizens in taking responsibility for the City of Winchester's natural environment.

The NRAB works in conjunction with the Public Services Committee of the Winchester City Council and makes reports and recommendations to that body. The NRAB coordinates it's activities, as appropriate, with other City committees, boards and commissions.
