Open House scheduled and feedback requested for National Avenue Project

Mon, 02/24/2014 - 07:02

Later this year, the City of Winchester is planning to construct some significant improvements that would realign sections of National Avenue, East Lane and Piccadilly Street.  These improvements will improve safety on this major roadway into downtown and allow for the installation of landscaping enhancements.
To allow the public the opportunity to stay informed, ask questions and provide feedback on this major project, the City will host an informal Open House on Tuesday, March 4th on the 4th floor of Rouss City Hall.  Feel free to come any time between 4:00-7:00 pm.

For those that cannot attend the Open House but would like to provide feedback, the drawings and comment form provided on March 4th will also be available March 5-April 11 at the following locations:
Online - City’s website under “Departments” tab and then “Public Utilities”
War Memorial Building, Jim Barnett Park
Rouss City Hall:
 Main floor lobby
Utilities administrative office, 4th floor

Questions concerning this project can be directed to Perry Eisenach at (540) 667-1815.
