How can I rent a space(s) at any of the four autoparks?
Monthly Rentals
The Parking Authority manages 4 parking garages:
- Braddock Autopark, 30 North Braddock Street
- Court Square Autopark, 2 South Cameron Street
- Loudoun Autopark, 50 East Fairfax Lane
- George Washington Autopark, 128 North Cameron Street
There are 1,404 monthly spaces in the autoparks. Currently there are over 900 spaces rented.
The monthly parking rates currently are $42.00 monthly undercover and $35.00 monthly on the roof. Monthly parking rates are set by the Parking Authority.
In 2011, staff conducted a survey of other localities in regards to their monthly parking rentals. The Authority noted that other localities charge the following rates for their monthly parking: Frederick, MD charges $90/space, Hagerstown, MD charges $60/space and Charlottesville, VA charges $115-$130/space

What is automation, and how does it affect parking?
All of our garages are now fully automated facilities.
Each exit at each of the autoparks has a paystation that accepts cash, coin or VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. There are no attendants on duty in the garages. The main office of the Parking Authority is located at the George Washington Autopark.
Many customers inquire about security features. Currently, there are cameras at each autopark and they will soon be monitored at the George Washington Autopark.
How does the validation program work with automation?
The Parking Validation Program provides businesses and organizations a means of offering free parking to their customers. If your business or organization would like to offer validated coupons to your customers or to obtain more information on the validation program please contact the George Washington Autopark at 540-722-7575.
Businesses or organizations may purchase a minimum of 100 validation coupons with varying incremental discount rates. This allows a wide-range of flexibility in regards to meeting your customer’s needs.
The paystations will only accept up to three coupons per transaction. The customer will insert the coupon into the paystation after inserting their parking ticket. The customer will pay for any remaining balance. Coupons are accepted at all of the four facilities.
