How to Dispose of Unwanted Items

Every day you probably come across some unwanted items. Whether it's old clothes, used tires, automotive fluids, or outdated computers, there are many items that you are done with and need to get rid of. Often times, that unwanted item is useful to someone else. Or you may have materials that need to be disposed of in an environmentally-sound manner. Below is a list of different items and materials and where you can dispose of them in the most conscientious way. If you live outside the Winchester, Virginia area, call your local solid waste office to discover what you can do with unwanted items in your locality. They should be happy to help you keep materials out of local landfills.
