Seventh annual Holly Jolly Celebration adds seasonal market

Celebrate the holidays in Old Town Winchester during the seventh annual Holly Jolly Celebration on Saturday, December 8. Enjoy the caroling groups, Santa’s Headquarters, shopping and dining specials all day, holiday window decorations, free horse-drawn carriage rides, and new this year, a Holly Jolly Market. The Holly Jolly Market will be held on the Loudoun Street Mall in front of the 1840 courthouse and feature a variety of locally-made goods including truffles, evergreen wreaths and swags, raw honey, hot sauces, sugar scrubs and more.

2018 Schedule:

Time Activity
10 am-5 pm Local choral groups will be caroling throughout the mall. Enjoy the decorated store fronts and shopping and dining specials.
10 am-2 pm Children are invited to visit Santa’s Headquarters at the Godfrey Miller Center. Take your own photos with Santa Claus and make a special holiday craft (FREE).
1-3 pm Enjoy FREE horse-drawn wagon rides. Pick up a ticket beginning at 1:00 pm in front of the 1840 Courthouse (20 N. Loudoun Street) for your specified ride time. Tickets go fast!
1-3 pm Classic holiday movies at the Handley Library. Enjoy popcorn, interactive stations, crafts, and the following movies:
  • 1 pm - "Frosty the Snowman"
  • 2 pm - "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer"
  • 3 pm - "A Charlie Brown Christmas"
