The City of Winchester will operate on the following schedule in observance of the Veterans Day holiday on Wednesday, November 11:
- CLOSED:
- City administrative offices
- Joint Judicial Center (courts)
- Jim Barnett Park Rec Center
- CANCELED:
- WinTran routes
- Yard waste collection
- Metered parking in Old Town Winchester is free on Saturdays, Sundays and designated holidays including Veterans Day.
- Winchester-Frederick County Visitors Center, located at 1400 S. Pleasant Valley Road, will be open on Veterans Day from 9 am-5 pm.
