The Enterprise Zone Program was established in 2014 and is a partnership between the State of Virginia and the City of Winchester to provide businesses and commercial property owners with financial incentives to spur capital investment and job creation within targeted areas of the City. This public input session is being held to solicit public feedback on potential boundary amendments to the Enterprise Zone. City staff will be taking recommendations for possible property additions to the program and will be considering which properties to delete from the program.
All citizens are encouraged to attend the public input session or to contact the Economic Development Department at 540-667-1815 for further information on the incentives associated with the program. If you are unable to attend the public input session on April 16th but would like to provide feedback on your property's inclusion in the Enterprise Zone boundaries, please call the number above or you may email the Development Services Director, Shawn Hershberger.
