“Our current plan hasn’t been updated since 2018, and much has changed since then. These plans are living documents that should be updated periodically to make sure they reflect our community priorities,” stated Dan Hoffman, City Manager. “Since a strategic plan guides government operations, projects and planning for the next five years, it is important that we gather input from the many different areas and aspects of our great city.”

The City’s consultant, Collective Health Impact, is assisting with the comprehensive update. To-date, they have met with the City’s Senior Leadership Team, Council members (individually), and Constitutional Officers to gather feedback. At the April 13, 2021 Council meeting, Mr. Hoffman will provide a progress update and the consultant will meet with stakeholders in late-April and lead a Council retreat on May 14. A final plan is expected by the end of June.
