Closure to continue for two Constitutional Offices

Commissioner of the Revenue Ann Burkholder and City Treasurer Jeff Barbour have decided to extend the office closure through next week due to the previously-reported COVID-19 exposure. Please see their announcement below:

“Considering the health status of our mutual teams and erring on the side of safety, we have decided to keep our offices closed to the public during the week of January 11-15, however, both offices will be available by phone and email. This will also provide both teams with flexibility should other staff come under further COVID protocols during the quarantine period.”

Two Constitutional Offices close this week due to COVID-19 exposure

January 4, 2021

Due to a COVID-19 exposure among staff, the City of Winchester Treasurer and the Commissioner of the Revenue’s Offices located in the Creamery Building (21 S. Kent Street) will be closed the remainder of the week, January 5-8, 2021. The Commissioner of the Revenue’s staff (tax information, filings and business licenses) will be available by phone and email, but the Treasurer’s staff (tax payments and balances) will not be available until the offices reopen.
