Calling all in recovery! Are you ready for your shot at $100? Come join the fun in recovery by auditioning for the 2nd Annual “Recovery’s Got Talent” competition. The event includes a fun evening celebrating recovery with a community-wide talent show. Last year the event discovered unique talent with finalists that included a comedian, singers, a tap dancer, and a poet.
Bring your unique talent to the preliminary competition to qualify for a spot in the Grand Finale. Auditions will be held March 23, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Winchester Medical Center Conference Center. Limited spots are available and you must call to register for the auditions. Call Kim Shupe at 540-272-6510 or Melissa Elliott at 540-539-4994.
The event has been planned by the Northern Shenandoah Valley Substance Abuse Coalition’s (NSVSAC) Recovery Subcommittee which has led local efforts to remove the stigma of addiction in our community.
The Grand Prize Winner will walk away with $100, 2nd place will receive $50, and the third place winner will get $25.
The finale of Recovery’s Got Talent is Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6 – 10 p.m. at the Winchester Medical Center Conference Center. There is a suggested donation of $4 to the NSVSAC.
