We Want to Hear from You!
Did you know that the City conducts a community survey every few years to measure residents’ satisfaction levels with city services and gather opinions on specific policy questions? This fall, the City will again offer a community survey to randomly selected Winchester households.
To implement the survey in a professional and unbiased manner, the City is contracting with an independent, external research firm, ETC Institute. The City is leveraging ETC Institute’s expertise from administering similar surveys nationwide to ensure our survey is fully comprehensive and will give us the best insights possible. All survey results are completely confidential.
Randomly selected households will receive the survey via U.S. mail in the coming week to two weeks, along with a postage-paid reply envelope, allowing them to conveniently share their perspectives. Additionally, recipients can complete the survey online at winchestersurvey.org, in English or Spanish if they prefer. Respondents may also call the ETC Institute to have their survey completed over the phone with an interviewer working in ETC Institute’s home office in Olathe, Kansas.
We appreciate residents’ willingness to take 15 to 20 minutes to complete the survey and share their thoughts about how things are going in Winchester. Your ideas and input are greatly appreciated and will be presented to the City Council in November!
