Fire Prevention
FOIA requests are required for the following types of reports: fire incidents, environmental assessments, permits, spill reports, underground/above-ground storage tanks, inspection reports, etc. Though the request can be made verbally, submitting your request in writing ensures an accurate response. Individuals requesting agency records under the Freedom of Information Act have a responsibility to reasonably describe the records they seek. For example, if you are requesting a fire incident report, you must provide the date that the fire occurred or the best approximate date of the incident, the property address and any other pertinent details.
Requests for these reports may be submitted via the City's online FOIA request portal or sent directly to the City's FOIA Officer or WFRD:

Call Logs
The weekly log of fire and EMS calls is provided here each week (every Thursday for the prior week) and will be posted for 7 days. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act prohibits the release of this information for medical calls.
EMS Records
EMS Reports are not covered under FOIA and are protected health information covered under HIPAA.
