The City of Winchester will be offering reimbursements of up to $1,500 to eligible restaurants, breweries, cafes, and other dining establishments that purchase heaters for their outdoor dining spaces. We encourage businesses to expand and promote their outdoor dining options to customers as a safety precaution against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Possess a valid City of Winchester Business License and be located within the corporate limits of the city.
- Have an approved outdoor dining space or be in the process of getting approval from the City.
- Provide the City with purchase documentation for the heaters (paid invoices, receipts, bank statements). Heaters must have been purchased on or after March 1, 2020 to receive reimbursement.

Email your completed application and purchase documents to shirley.dodson@winchesterva.gov by November 13, 2020 at 5:00 pm. You may also mail the forms to Rouss City Hall, Attn: Economic Development, 15 N. Cameron Street, Winchester, VA 22601 if received by the deadline.
