Meditation for Pain Management (Ages 18+)

Join a 4-week series to learn how you can use meditation and mindfulness techniques to better deal with pain that you are currently experiencing.

Personal Growth and Development through Mindfulness (Ages 18+)

Come for weekly meditations and discussions about how mindfulness can be incorporated into your life for daily growth and development.

Walking Club (Ages 18+)

Explore Jim Barnett Park while burning calories and getting healthy. Walk at your own pace. Some will walk slowly and some will walk fast but no one will walk alone. Low-impact walkers are welcome.

Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga

Learn how to create a safe home practice to maintain during your pregnancy from a certified instructor. Now matter what trimester you're in or even if you're trying to conceive, studies show prenatal yoga is incredibly beneficial for improving sleep, reducing stress, increasing strength, and improving flexibility and endurance. Bring a yoga mat, pillow, notepad and pen.

A new opportunity for families to have fun doing a craft or activity. The program will be held outside (wear sunscreen and bring water).

STEAM Camp

Once upon a hero challenges created by the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum will include building a pulley for Rapunzel's tower, designing a bridge to support the three Billy Goat Gruffs, and building a superhero book camp obstacle course.

Kenpo-Kids (Ages  8+)

This program is a fun and safe place for your child to learn the basics of Kenpo Karate. Children will learn responses to four of the most common attacks on the street. Your child will also grow in confidence, self-control, and respect for self and others along with appropriate responses to a harsh world.

Resume Writing and Interviewing Techniques (Ages 18+)

Learn to format, write and include important information on your resume that employers want to see while learning how to be effective in an interview.

Financial Basics

Develop financial literacy and the importance of asking questions when dealing with financial products and institutions and ways to save money.

PB and J Club

PB&J Club (Ages 5 & under)

Play, Bounce and Jump to refine motor skills and have fun with a gym full of toddler-appropriate play equipment. This exciting program allows kids and parents to play freely without worrying about clean up or weather. All equipment is safe and properly sanitized before each program.
