Pickle for the People Tournament
WPRD and CCAP are teaming up to host a Round Robin Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, February 11 at 8 a.m. The goal of this event is to collect nonperishable food donations for the citizens of Winchester who need assistance. Fee: $75 per team + 5 nonperishable food items for donation. This is a Mixed Doubles event, but only 1 player needs to register for the team. Register now; space is limited. Cardboard Boat Regatta
Calling all shipbuilders to the Cardboard Boat Regatta on Saturday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m.! We challenge you to design, construct, and navigate cardboard boats across the blue seas of the indoor pool. There will be allotted time to build your ship with provided cardboard, duct tape, and scissors. Feel free to bring extra design elements! Compete in teams of two; one registration/entry per team. Fee: $35 or $30 RDF per team. All rowers must be at least 10 years of age; lifejackets provided while supplies last.

New! Differing Abilities Programs
SENSORY SUNDAYS @ THE REC CENTER
Join us for Sensory Sundays, a special time set aside just for our friends with differing abilities before the Rec Center opens to the general public. Sensory Sundays includes:
- Swim @ Jim's: Swim in the Indoor Pool at Jim Barnett Park. Lights are dimmed, swim instructors are on-site to give an introduction to swimming, and a limited number of life jackets are available on request. Guests under 12 must have an adult (age 18+) present; ages 8 and under must have an adult in the water. (This portion of the programming is currently not available due to pool maintenance.)
- Quiet Play in the Gym: Basketballs, dodgeballs, and other equipment will be available for those who would like to play in a quieter athletic space.
- Social Time in the Social Hall: Enjoy a variety of games - including giant board games - in the Social Hall. Music will be playing during this time.
