The Winchester Department of Social Services (WDSS) will host an Open House on Wednesday, April 12 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at its office building located at 24 Baker Street in Winchester.
During the Open House, attendees will have the opportunity to speak with current employees and explore available career options. The event will focus on recruiting Family Services Specialists, and individuals will be able to apply for positions onsite.
“After a successful event in December last year, we’re excited to host another Open House this spring," stated WDSS Director Amber Dopkowski. "If you're seeking a rewarding career in Family Services, this is the job search event for you. Our team is ready to welcome you in and introduce you to the outstanding work we do in our community, and we hope you'll consider joining our team."
Pre-registration is not required to attend the Open House. Though encouraged, attendees are not required to bring a resume. Onsite interviews will be granted to qualified candidates who possess:
- A baccalaureate degree in the human services field; or
- A baccalaureate degree in any field accompanied by a minimum of two years appropriate and related experience in a human services-related area.
Questions about the WDSS Open House should be directed to Deputy Director Rebecca Hopkins.
