The Budget Workshop scheduled for Saturday, January 20, is CANCELED due to the snow.

Winchester Transit WILL NOT operate today, Friday, January 19.

The City has started plowing roads, focusing on primary roads (think major corridors like Pleasant Valley Rd or Berryville Ave). Only drive when necessary, make sure your car is equipped to handle the snow, don’t park along snow emergency routes, and remember that sidewalks must be cleared within 24 hours of the end of the storm. City Offices Closed on Friday, January 19

Out of an abundance of caution, with another round of snow predicted for late this evening and into Friday afternoon, City offices will be closed on Friday, January 19.

Trash collection will still occur as scheduled, but crews may be delayed starting. If your trash is not collected by the evening, please leave your cart out, and it will be collected on Saturday. 

Winchester Transit will start operating at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19. 

All Saturday events and activities are still happening as scheduled.
