Apply For Benefits

  2. Call to apply via the Enterprise Customer Service Center at 855-635-4370 (Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm)
  3. Paper applications are available and may be submitted to Winchester Department of Social Services, 24 Baker Street, Winchester, VA 22601

Virginia Insurance Marketplace – Virginia residents who are no longer eligible for Medicaid/FAMIS may qualify for marketplace coverage for a health and/or dental plan. To get started, visit marketplace.virginia.gov and select 'Get Covered.'

Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language), should contact the agency (state or local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or who have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
