Neighborhood Parks

Winchester is home to over 270 acres of park land and over 100 of those acres are located within Winchester's neighborhoods.

All neighborhood parks and green spaces are open dawn to dusk, unless permission is granted for extended use beyond the stated hours.

Cedarmeade Green Space

Located in the Cedarmeade neighborhood.

Frederick Douglass Park

Located in the North End neighborhood. There is a large open field, small playground, and outdoor basketball court.

Friendship Park

Located in the North End neighborhood. There is a large open fields.

Harvest Ridge Park

Located in the Harvest Ridge neighborhood. There is a large open field.

NESW Park

Located in the Whittier Acres neighborhood. There is a large open field, small playground, and outdoor basketball court.

Overlook Green Space

Located near Quarles Elementary School.

Park Place Park

Located in the Park Place neighborhood. There is a large open field, small playground, and paved walking trail.

Poles Park

Located at the corner of Frederick Ave. and Maple Street. There is a gravel walking trail and green space.

Rolling Hills Green Space

Located in the Rolling Hills neighborhood.

Ruth Jackson Memorial Park

Located on the corner of S. Kent Street and E. Cecil Street. There is a bricked area with benches and informational signage about the historic Ruth's Tea Room.

Timbrook Park

Located across from the Timbrook Public Safety Center on E. Piccadilly Street. There is a small playground, gazebo, outdoor basketball court, and community garden.

Weaver Park

Located off South Pleasant Valley Road. There is a large open field, swing set, outdoor basketball court, serenity garden, and a gravel walking trail.

Whittier Park

Located in the Whittier Acres neighborhood. There is a large open field, small playground, and outdoor basketball court.
