Calling local organizations, businesses, and community groups that have a flair for the dramatic and a love of Halloween!
 
Winchester Parks and Recreation’s annual Spooky Fun Halloween event returns to Jim Barnett Park on Friday, October 17, 5:30-8:30 p.m.! New for 2025 is a Spooky Hayride through the wooded pavilion area of the park. As part of this new attraction, we’re inviting local organizations, businesses, and community groups to sponsor and decorate a pavilion along the hayride route.


If accepted, your group will be assigned one of our park pavilions to transform into a spooky scene that hayride participants will pass and enjoy. This is your chance to get creative, showcase your organization, and add to the Halloween magic! At the end of each hayride, participants will vote on their favorite pavilion. The winning organization will receive a special prize and plenty of community bragging rights!
