South End Fire Station

• Disconnect existing utilities not servicing the remaining portion of the fire station. 

• Demolish existing "bingo hall" portion of the existing fire station within the area hatched dark brown. 

• Demolish existing auto repair building within the area hatched dark brown. 

• Demolish existing parking lot along W. Monmouth St. within the area hatched light brown. 

• Demolish existing miscellaneous surface features within the are hatched light brown.  

• Install a new construction entrance along W. Germain St. 

• Prepare a "construction lay down area" within the area hatched dark blue. 

• Construct the new fire station building. 

• Construct the site improvements along S. Braddock St. and a portion of the frontage along W. Monmouth St.  

• Disconnect existing utility services to the remaining portion of the existing fire station. 

• Demolish remaining portion of the existing fire station within the area hatched dark brown. 

• Demolish a portion of the existing parking lot within the are hatched light brown. 

• Maintain 12 standard parking spaces within the area hatched light yellow. 

• Reserve on HC parking space as shown along S. Braddock St. 

• Construct proposed parking lot within the area hatched dark gray. 

• Demolish remaining portion of the existing parking lot within the area hatched light brown.

The New South End Fire Station project includes construction of a two-story fire station with four apparatus bays on the existing site. The current station will remain fully operational during construction. Once the new facility opens, the old station will be removed and replaced with parking and site improvements.
