New Waste Collection Schedule

Changes are coming to our waste collection schedule starting on MONDAY, July 7, 2025!

Based on your voting ward, trash and recycling will now be collected on the same day (but still by different trucks). Ward 1 will be collected on Mondays, Ward 2 on Tuesdays, Ward 3 on Wednesdays, and Ward 4 on Thursdays. Friday will be a city-wide yard waste collection day.

WinReady Celebrates 100,000th Rider

Last Thursday, WinReady celebrated its 100,000th rider since the City’s on-demand public transit service started operations in March of 2024. The Winchester Transit team was so excited to present Michael Dawson with a gift basket to commemorate the occasion!
