Based on the weather forecast for this weekend, the Interim City Manager has declared a snow emergency for the City of Winchester effective 8:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23.
Starting on Monday, July 7, 2025, there will be a new waste collection schedule rolled out across the City!

Trash and recycling will now be collected on the same day, determined by your voting ward, and yard waste will be collected City–wide on Fridays. The only exception to this schedule is for Old Town, where the collection schedule will stay the same.
