Winter Weather Update February 12 2025

All City offices, including Parks and Rec and Winchester Transit, are CLOSED today, Wednesday, February 12, due to the winter weather. The City Board of Zoning Appeals meeting scheduled for this afternoon is postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, March 12. 

Trash pickup is still planned for tomorrow and Friday according to the City’s regular schedule. 

Don’t forget that City Code requires residents and businesses to clear their sidewalks within 24 hours of stormy weather if we receive 6 inches or less of snow. If we get more than 6 inches, you have 40 hours to clear sidewalks. If you are a senior citizen or physically unable to shovel your sidewalk, our Snowbuster volunteer program is here to help.
