JULY 3RD SWIM-EBRATION:
Come celebrate Independence Day Eve at the Outdoor Pool! While you're here, enjoy the RED, WHITE, & BOOM! pre-show festivities and wrap up the night with fireworks at 9:20 p.m.

Fee: Daily Fee, Membership, or Splash Pass
NOTICE: Patrons are asked not to move barricades/cones from blocked parking areas. Any car parked in a blocked space will be towed at the owner's expense. No exceptions.
RED, WHITE, & BOOM PRE-SHOW FESTIVITIES:
Come over to Jim Barnett Park on July 3rd for an afternoon of fun! There will be small business vendors, food trucks, live stage entertainment, and the Family Fun Zone with over a dozen inflatables and games for kids and families.
***IMPORTANT UPDATES AS OF 6/30***
4PM - Event start. Vendors and Food Trucks open until 9PM. Rec Center open for Fun Zone ticket sales, restrooms, and cooling station in Social Hall.
4:30PM - Fun Zone opens (with modifications). Water Slides and Games on Henkel Harris Field. Bounce Houses in Rec Center Gym. Family Fun Zone jumper wristbands available for purchase on event day inside the Rec Center only. Pre-purchased tickets redeemed at Rec Center front desk. Both fun zone locations close at 8:30PM.
Fun Zone Ages: All. Ages 12+ may enter/exit alone. Ages 0-11 must have an adult 18+ with them to enter/exit.
Fun Zone Fee: $10 per jumper (Pre-register before W, 7/2 at 12:00 p.m. - $8 per jumper)
Purchase Fun Zone TicketsPreston Concourse Stage Entertainment is FREE and with open seating on the bricks, so bring a chair or blanket!

RED, WHITE, & BOOM FIREWORKS:
Fireworks will be shot from Bodie Grim Field at approximately 9:20 p.m. Best viewing is from the surrounding ball fields. NOTE: The fireworks are not visible from Christianson Familyland or the Wilkins Lake area due to elevation.

Bodie Grim and Yost Parking Lots will be
CLOSED ALL DAY on July 3.
War Memorial Drive (road between Preston Complex and the Rec Center) will
CLOSE AT 1:30PM. Access the Rec Center and Outdoor Pool from the south side of the building.
Parking on Festival Field OPENS AT 4PM. Enter near the Maple Dr./Oak Dr. intersection. Follow directions of Event Staff.
Additional Parking available at the Daniel Morgan Campus.
Maple Drive and the Maple/Cork Entrance CLOSED AT 8:50PM.
S. Purcell Ave. CLOSED AT 8:50PM from Cork Street to the first school parking lot.
⚠️ Post-Event Traffic Flow:
- All traffic exiting from the Daniel Morgan Campus will be directed NORTH (right turn only) on Purcell Avenue.
- All traffic exiting from Bridgeforth Drive will be directed EAST (right turn only) on Cork Street to Senseny Road (over I-81).
- All traffic exiting Oak Drive from the pavilions area will be directed to exit at Bridgeforth Drive.
- All traffic exiting from Maple Drive by the athletic fields (once reopened) will be directed WEST (left turn only) on Cork Street to Pleasant Valley Road.
- All traffic exiting the Rec Center/Outdoor Pool parking lot directly behind the Rec Center will be directed NORTH (right turn only) on Maple Drive.
- All traffic exiting from Festival Field will be directed SOUTH (left turn only) on Maple Drive, then right turn only to exit onto Pleasant Valley Road.
Everyone is reminded to drive carefully and be respectful of event staff and other drivers. Safely exiting over 10,000 people from the park takes time.... please be patient!
Closures will reopen AFTER traffic clears from the park following the fireworks show.
