Red, White, & Lights! Drone Show

Drone Show FULL WIDTH.png

Conclude a day of summer fun with a dazzling drone show that blends innovation, patriotism, and Winchester pride. Featuring vibrant aerial visuals, this one-of-a-kind experience will celebrate 250 years of American history while highlighting the unique heritage of our community — lighting up the sky in a way you’ve never seen before.

The event is free to attend and all spectators are asked to sit on or near the ballfields (bring a chair or blanket) facing Festival Field (behind the Outdoor Pool). Festival Field will be closed to vehicles and spectators.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • There will be no road closures for this event, no field parking, and no designated parking areas. Parking is first come, first served. We ask that patrons not park on grassy areas. Additional parking is available across Cork Street at the Daniel Morgan campus.
  • The drone show will be oriented for viewing from the Preston Sports Complex, Yost Field, and Bodie Grim Field. The public is permitted to sit on the fields for viewing, so bring a chair or blanket! (Please, no food or beverages on the turf fields!) The show should be visible from Daniel Morgan Intermediate as well.
  • Viewing from the south side of the park (Amp Hill, Familyland, Wilkins Lake will have reversed views of images and will likely have obstructed views due to lower elevation and trees. We do not recommend these locations for viewing.
