MLK Jr. Day Schedule Changes

🏛 City offices, the Jim Barnett Park Rec Center, and the Joint Judicial Center will be closed. Winchester Transit will be open.

♻️ City-wide, trash and recycling will be collected one day later than usual. Yard waste collection is canceled for the week.

Cedar Valley Neighborhood Design District Groundbreaking Ceremony

After an awesome (if hot!) groundbreaking event last week, the transformation of Ward Plaza into the Cedar Valley neighborhood has officially begun!

THANK YOU to all who have supported this effort: our City Council, Economic Development Board and staff team, Ward Four Neighborhood Design District Committee, City staff, Winchester Acquisition Partners, Chesapeake Construction...and most of all, Winchester residents!
